Match Thread - Round 2, Thunder v Demons

Thunder v Demons – Can the Thunder replicate the occurrings of earlier this week and wreak havoc on an unsuspecting Perth? AFL players will be vital in this game for the Thunder, in particular, as they are a fairly inexperienced side. We have Harley Bennell on show again this week, along with possibly Schofield, O’Brien, Rosa and Hurn (yeah right), plus Butcher. Perth will have Smith, Sullivan, S Selwood (?), to go with Cook, Young, Armstrong, Moody, Thornton et al.
I think this game will be closer than many think, but Perth to ease over the line.

J.Williams OUT thats no surprise he might as well go back to Bunbury or South Bunbury for $$$.

K.Butcher OUT bit stiff considering the line up they have.

Ash Thornton will kill Buszan. Its not like Buszan can kick or mark anyway.

McDougall should kill it, would have to play Charters on him as no one else can match him.

Peels strong HB line will have to be in top form and they will have to some how kick goals for any chance of a win.

Good to see Schofield and Rory O'Brien both in the INS column....Hopefully they both play as god we are going to need them!

Where the hell is Brock O'Brien? Knowing Brock hes probably injured again haha!

Itll be alot closer then some people think this one IMO......Peel will be hurting after last week big loss......A 2nd home game at Bendigo where we generally play well due to the smaller oval....Itll be close IMO......Dont ask me why but i tinhk Peel are a chance - Must just be the Peel supporter inside me!

How someone performs in juniors is hardly grounds to judge the calibre of player they are. Chris was asked to play in a Dockers intra club in the pre season and obviously has some talent having represented the WAFL under 23's last year.

Kieran Butcher sufered a rib injury last week and left the field in the 3rd quarter.

Dean Buszan can't mark! Are you kidding? The bloke has hands of a giant, sure he isn't the most reliable kick in the competition but he isn't terrible either.

Oh and Peel had a great win too, feels good to tip a result few expected.
