I know it's a sensitive topic with a lot of our fans but it still genuinely bewilders me that Henderson is our captain

Back in the days when we were consistently good, we had Hyypia, Kuyt, Gerrard, Carra, Xabi, Hamann, Masch, Reina, all of them have balls the size of coconuts. Henderson would not get near any one of them in terms of personality, then you wonder why there are no leaders on the pitch

Henderson I'm sure is a great professional and probably sets the standard on the training pitch, but yeah, he lacks certain talismanic qualities expected of a leader on the pitch.

He is not even VC, he should be that good honest player that no one really notices but does his job on the pitch while better players do their thang

I've always thought he's better suited playing somewhere between no8 and no10

Stop living on past reputations and judge players on the present. Yes, Moreno in the past has been a headless chicken but this season he has actually been good at LB. No major mistakes, no brain fades, decent going forward. Lovren has clearly being a problem though.

This is a huge problem with our squad. Absolutely no leaders in the team. Particularly at the back. Would Carragher or Hyypia ever let anything like last night happen. Not a chance.

Absolutely devoid of leaders. Im hoping Keita is a leader. I also hope we can get VVD because he is a proper centre half. All our CBs are reactive where as VVD attacks the ball. Sorts prolems, gets shit done.

and compounded it by making another dud move to Palace. Before being plagued by injuries.
