Last weeks ep was a pisser with the kids questioning Vardy & Walker.
Question to Vardy - "How old are you ?"
Answer "21 years and 5 months.....{long pause}.......oh wait,21 years and 11 months"
Thank god Vards can play footy because he seems to have a few sheep loose in the top paddock
BTW was the little blond kid last week Alfie Wojcinski ?

Isnt he a FA at years end?
He is a Geelong bloke thru and thru I feel but he is playing like a guy making sure his contract is good next year. And right now he deserves it too...
Just hope it is here...
GO Catters
I just cant see the Dogs trading Griffen.Yes FA. And considering his form there will be suiters. When we have all done the Dosey Doe on who will be going at years end but too many time has Stoke been considered. But I'd imagine if a club had cap room , and Stokes would like to set himself up , there would be plenty that would value him. Put it this way , he has far better form to attract than Shagga had.
For eg. Id imagine if the Dogs trade out a player like Griffen to get P1 , they would have a heap of dollars to get someone like Stokes

Freo also need a key forward so maybe they have more to offer.
Varcoe has very little currency on the open market, because of his injuries. No way would we get anywhere near Griffen.
Varcoe is a chance to go back to South Australia at some stage, the Crows would be a likely destination.
Varcoe's huge contract is another stumbling block, we would have to swallow some of his salary. He was given big deal after 2011. Personally I think he is tradeable given the emergence of other players since 2011 but I just can't see a club taking a risk on him given his salary and that would we also want an early pick.
It would be a real sickener to get rid of him as he is favourite of a lot of people but value for money wise, his body is not just reliable enough for a salary north of 400 per year.
Can't wait to have all of Stokes, Varcoe, Johnson, Motlop and Christensen in the same side.
Speed, skill and smarts in spades. No club has the ability to shut them all down.
How stupid to consider him a favorite when he sucks so much out and gives sweet diddly, since when did the GFC become a charity institution?
Do you get paid to stay home because the boss likes you??
No! so get over it! Stoksey stays coze he stays on the park, leads the club in disposals(easily) and is second to Jimmie in dream team points, that's how you gauge value!!!
Trade him for someone while we can.

I'd be trading out Varcoe while the footy community still over hype an unrealised talent.
The guy has shoulder issues and struggles to get into a hard game, his stats over the years are very poor when the cred he's received is weighed alongside.
Seriously,....cut the guy now and get a Griffin, the dogs just might be dumb enough to swallow the hype.
To trade Stokes would be like cutting our nose off to spite our own face, he's our leading disposal winner forgoodnasakes.
Michael Jordan's father in an interview:
"Michael would come into the workshop to help me and his elder brother. Mike was hopeless. Thank God he can play basketball. Because if he had to work for a living, he'd starve to death."
(ps my recollection)
I'm picturing Sydney making a play for it, solely to send the Melbourne footy community into meltdown.I just cant see the Dogs trading Griffen.

Stokes is FA , no trade and no say in it if he wants to goI'd be trading out Varcoe while the footy community still over hype an unrealised talent.

Meto just taking another opportunity to slag TV. Nothing new here we should just move on before the thread gets derailed.Stokes is FA , no trade and no say in it if he wants to go

Can't really see Stokesy going anywhere as a free agent. Club took a punt on him as a mature age recruit supported him through his drug possession mishap and gave him a couple premiership medallions as a bit parts player.
Would be pretty poor for him to up and leave after having a breakout season where he has become a genuinely integral part of the side.
What and keep paying TV 400K plus for nothing, trade the drop kick and get a regular contributor.
Is the GFC a TV charity?......we're a joke!
