Like i said before (have to repeat myself because your stupid brain clearly wasnt listening), I know Crouch would win, he is an overrated midfielder that gets easy disposals (aka good looking stats). Average fans will look at crouch and think "i know that player more then i know that one" they will then look at the stats and just vote off that. Doesnt mean he is a better player, just means he is overrated and more people know of him.

And to your point, we are both bias to our own player. Facts are that Darcy has had 1 goal kicked on him in the last 5 weeks, he gets a large amount of ball himself and uses it incredibly well. I think you are severely overrating crouch and his impact on games. He doesn't use the ball very well, he has had 2 goal assist for the year and is sitting 133rd in the league for scoring involvement despite the fact that he averages over 26 disposals per game. He has kicked 3 goals. He is sitting 240th in the league for inside 50s despite averaging 26 disposals per game. His clearance work is okay but nothing special sitting 21st in the league (ollie wines who is having a bad year apparently is 14th). He is 94th in the league for tackles so he doesn't apply much pressure defensively.

So yes he is an overrated standard midfielder, that is not as good as DBJ

I think he's contributing extremely well to a midfield that is sitting 5th on the ladder, whereas Darcy is playing his role in a team sitting outside the 8. Is Darcy shit? No. Is he better than Crouch? No. The fact that you think 21st in the league for clearances is "okay" for such a young player just shows your bias. That is an extremely good stat for someone of Crouch's experience.

If darcy keeps his opponents quiet I couldn't care less if he gets 1 disposal. Fact that a 12 gamer can do that and then find that much ball himself (5 games over 20 disposals) alone proves what type of player he is. Much better then crouch
