How many do you think he will play.

I would be looking at him to play somewhere between 10 - 12 games. With him and mooney in the team, mooney will be able to float alot more. This will allow him to play all parts of the ground, where he was at his best last year.

Thats my 2 cents :D

I think that egan will only get a game if one of our key backmen (Scarlett, Harley, Mooney) get injured.

Will struggle to maintain a spot early on, so I expect him to be one of the few who are in the team one week and out the next.

However I'd like to think the coaching staff would have found him a regular spot come the later part of the season.

I see Egan as you do GC. Will struggle to stay in if we have a full backline, but I see him as a developing player that will get more of a run later in the year to assist and give another option before finals

Tweak Talent is spot on. Unless Harley or Scarlett is injured or unavailable then Egan wont play. However Geelong rate him extremely highly.

That's a big call Catman considering Harley has the runs on the board. Good thing about Egan is at least he's a mature age player and probably ready to go. Not a bad effort as he was playing tennis 3 years ago and played for Oak Park in 03 EDFL Grand Final

Hi,
I think Egan did a great job against Richmond. I was sitting right behind him when he got injured and he showed heaps of courage in his jump for the footy. That being said, I would never replace Harley in the side. He is a great player him and scarlo are great friends and it shows in the way they manage the ball together. I think Egan will be a great extra in the defence but definately not a replacement - why replace something thats the best in the comp??

I think there's room in the team for the two key defenders and Ego at times.

With Mooney still struggling, i feel we simply need to have Ego in the team.
