Well done Cats and to Matty Knights. Really pleased to see him have some success and stick it right up the bombers. There is alot of hope on the Tigers board that knights will cross to punt rd and lead our stand alone reserves in 2014.

Who knows. He may take over from Hardwick in 2015... We would like to keep him for a couple more.

I would like to keep him for many many years if I could.
I think a roll of VFL coach and development coach would be awesome for him and for the Cats.
His development of the youngsters is some of the best in the league, why not keep him as long as we can? Pay him accordingly (assistant coach or thereabouts), the only question would be does he still have ambitions to be a senior coach.
Had the fortune to have a chat with Matty after the semi final this year, speaks very well and is the perfect fit for us, reminds me alot of Scotty, came into the Geelong system with all the same values, really a humble and honest bloke and I really think hes coming into his own at our club.

Yet ANOTHER great pickup from our club. We talk about how we get the perfect fits but how good is our board/CEO at picking the right people!

Great job by Knights and the team down there. Loved the whole developing them as players while also trying to win.

I always like Knights as both a player and coach. As others said, he was hard done by Essendon, both by the board and the players (Lloyd did his best of white ant him). Great to see he has now got some success as a coach
