My friend, as Einstein said, Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. You have a look at Richo and you see a demigood with the occasional kicking yips. I see a very strong marking semi-clown. Everything is a matter of perception and viewing angle. You think the Tigers are the joke of the competition despite Richo. I think they are a joke because of him and all the other players who offer neither skills nor hardness. Do not tell me what other said about Richo. Justify the title of the champion you give him without referring to his running and contested marking. These are attributes of an excellent athlete but not necessarily of a champion footballer. Lifting your team when it needs you to do so and making your team-mates better are what real champions do. Did you notice Richo’s contribution at the match against Port? Four goals, all in junk-time when we where already 40-60 points down. And 4-0 this time, you see he can be accurate when it does not matter anyway.

Cheerio, not hard feelings, we just exchange opinions here!

youuu idiot, how can you talk about a lack of hardness and richo in the same sentence, did he not fracture bones in his face and not only play the next weet, but nearly WIN US THE GAME,

Nearly is the operative word for his whole carrer, isn't it? When I say Hardness I mean in terms of trying to be physically intimidating and try to hurt opposition players within the rules of the game. Hardness in terms of tackling someone once in his life. Hardness in terms of applying defensive pressure in general and not running like crazy only when he wants to get the ball from his team-mates and play the hero again. What you refer as hardness is actually bravery. Alrighty then, Richo is brave, but a hard and tough player? Give me a break!

And-by the way- you go and call your relatives and your friends idiots, keyboard warrior!

Last night Richo was well held by Bolton and yet for 2.5 quarters we were fairly competitive with the Swans. Just reinforces my thought that we could do worse than to tell Richo to play up the ground and leave the F50 to the young kids in the next 5 weeks and see what happens. Perhaps we get a game or 2 where one of Riewoldt/Schulz/Hughes kicks 5 and the other 2 chip in for 3.

As I keep saying we have nothing to lose by doing that now. Over the next 5 weeks we play 5 sides competing for a top 8 spot so the pressure being put on us from these teams is going to be immense so what better way to test the youngsters than by putting the heat on them. Wallace has been doing it with the backline. Playing Thurstfield, McGuane & Raines on bigger and better opponents while leaving experienced players like Polak & JB free. Why not do it in the F50 as well? What have we got to lose? IMO nothing, what have we got to gain? IMO plenty

Did you bother reading my post or did you just give it a quick glance and assume to know what I said. Please go back and highlight for me where I said lets piss him off or he is no good. Just one line thats all you need to show. Because I NEVER SAID IT!

Richo thinks he owns FF.

He sulks when he's not in there.

When others try to use the arc,he gets all puffy-eyed and blames his team-mates for cluttering up his space...the same space he cant kick in.

His3-4 good games per year are hardly worth the imbalance he puts on the growth and expansion of the minds of the new brigade.

Would like to see him retire this season.
If we get another year of performances like last night, he'll get the caning he deserves from the supporters.
Who wants to see that?
Not I.

But quite a possibility if he cannot reinvent himself and don't hold much hope of that.

Dirty game from Richo. Bolton's had his measure as long ago as 2003 when he was relatively unknown.

If Richo is realistic in his aspirations to captain the club, he'll have to get it into his head that winning games in future won't revolve around us going to him all the time.

As long as he's good enough to command the best defender and a helper, he'll still be good value to us if the rest of the side is pulling its weight.
