Just announced on 5AA News.

Apparently the club got those photos back from Forensics and the guy with the goats isn't Reidy after all.

Too bad for the guy. I didn't mind him, he just wasnt up to AFL standard.

Definitely didn't deserve the bagging he copped from a lot of the people on here.

True, to us it is only sport, to them, it is their livelyhood.

The goats of the world can celebrate now huh ? :p

Now the question will be raised who will be elevated because I think its pretty unlikely that we will use 6 picks at the ND.

I think the likely one is Hinge and I think they will leave it at that. DaveW rasied a good point earlier, leave our options open at the draft and then if the need still araises, elevate Griffen during the season in place of Hudson who would be on the LTI list.

I've never seen enough of him to comment one way or the other, but isn't the very reason he was bagged by posters on here is that he wasn't up to AFL standard?

I always feel for guys delisted, but that is the nature of AFL. More spots have to be made on the list.

From another perspective, if your livelihood was in sales, and you went 5 years without making one......maybe you were pretty lucky to have had the job for so long?

How did Matthew Bode survive the delistings???

Cos he is awesome! No really i love the little scrapper and i dont care what any one else thinks of him. Glad he is still on the list, adds depth incase we have a less fortunate year with injuries.

Sounds sensible enough. But whoever it was that suggested that, it wasn't me.

Stevens retired. Begley retired. Watts departed. Doesn't leave us a lot to delist. Which of Schuback, Krueger and (apparently) Smith should have stayed instead of Bode?

Sounds like you want a guarantee that Bode will be available for Glenelg on a permanent basis. If that's the case, then he can't be that bad.

By the way, deja vu. Who remembers 2003?

Smith wasn't announced in the initial round of delistings. Then a week later he was given the flick.

Only to be later brought back via the rookie list.

I assume he's too old for the rookie list this time?
