Whilst i cannot comment on Smith because I have limited exposure to him playing, i find it amusing that the same people who are bagging him were bagging Bock abt 12 mnths ago. Maybe, just maybe the people employed by the club to make these decisions know a little more abt these players abilities than the people on this website??

Good point but as a follower of Sturt I have seen a lot of him and remain unimpressed.
Don't forget that
a) He hasn't played 1 game after being on the list for 5 years
b) These people at the club also employed David Gallagher

Happy to concede that i haven't seen much of him and he has been around a while however my point is most of you were ragging Bock last year and if the coaching staff had taken the advice from this website we probably wouldn't have finished as high as we did. They saw something in Bock that most here didn't and he has given our side great rebound from defence and team flexibility. Just saying maybe have some faith in those doing the job, because they're doing a good job.

Well if we can't bag underperforming players on this board what can we do?
Most of the bagged players this year seemed to lift their games soon after copping criticism - coincidence or?
Unfortunately Matthew wasn't one of those.

I think we didn't delist him because the lack of KPP we have. Next year is his delist year.

I reckon Craigy does. How else do you explain Smith not being delisted. I reckon Craigy is giving us a little payback for the Reid/Recruitment Dept. etc etc criticsms.

I think u just answered ur own question there mate.
I have no idea of how he plays but I cant see why we would keep him on our list when he hasnt played for what 5yrs.?? This guy is getting a ride! I wanna job where I do nothing, get a contract and get paid mountains!!

I dont reckon you would have found many posters here that didnt have Smithy at the top of their delist list for this year.

Craig and Co have continued to pleasantly surprise us over the last 12 months so we need to keep trusting I suppose. The 3 delistings of KPP must have had a big part in it also it would seem

And let me remind MOST people here....a certain Mr Bock was bagged by the vast majority of posters at this time last year and look what happened
