Day 1 he still iron gloved one down the leg side after only 5 overs & completely missed a Lyon delivery that turned slightly.

They wouldn't have to have much talent to offer more than Wade does. He is simply not test/international standard at anything. I'd prefer Heartly for now. At least he can keep well.

It his for him to lose. I don't think anyone has ever said he's a better keeper than Nevill. So he'll lose the spot when his keeping is consistently and absolutely diabolical or when his batting is consistently no better than Nevill. That will take until sometime in India to happen at least but it didn't happen in Adelaide. Still, I'd be taking two keepers to India or telling Handscomb to pack his gloves in case of emergency.
