his defensive pressure is second to none. We need him badly. hes a bulldozer and lifts the spirits of the team. has no fear for his own safety, always puts the team first.

Do Geelong fans think that Max will retire if Geelong win the flag this year? His knee is pretty bad apparently and should you win the cup it would be a fitting way for the wild beast to go out on.
Just on Rooke, he is probably the toughest bastard i have ever seen play. And a big game player as well. The guy is pure inspiration. I love watching him play and hope he gets up for the finals and the big one should you be there!
I sincerely hope that Geelong wins it again, i could not stand Collingwood winning it and i dont like St Kilda!! Come on, get over the line!

Personally, I don't think he'd retire. By all accounts, he's nearly ready to go and would want to play on.

Yeah, good form demondavey, and its nice to see your team take a bit of influence from our game style, as it certainly shits all over a St Kilda or Collingwood dull game.
Heres a question... If Rooke starts playing VFL in 2/3 weeks, Gets fit and starts putting in some ok performances in the VFL, but not quite ready for AFL, do you bring him in during the finals to allow him 4 or so VFL games?
I have a feeling that if Rooke can proove his fitness by Prelim/GF time Bomber would have put him straight into the team .... and i would have no problems with this at all

Lets just hope he is 100% ready when/if he returns....dont forget the last AFL game he played, against Carlton this year. Was pretty terrible. Heres hoping he gets back though, definetely rate him in our best 22 if fit.
Love the Max. looking at him in todays Addy , the mans just looks like a Wild Child. I recken Id have pulled a hammy if I had to play on him. IF and its abig if , he can get back to hi best he is a must for finals footy.But where do we play him. Not in the forwardline with Pods , for mine. Perhaps he would the man to finally put pressure on Mackie.
