P.S. If this trend continues, I’ll be writing to the AFL requesting the votes be tallied by someone not suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. Or better yet... by me. At least then we'd get one round of honesty before the apocalypse.

In his 5 finals to date he has rated: 20th, 30th, 23rd, 20th and 10th best on ground. Has it all to prove in finals.

Pretty much like his old man, who lived through the heartbreak of a load of losing finals campaigns. And kicked 2 goals in the 7 finals combined where Collingwood were eliminated from various finals series. Chip scab touches and ump gift goals for collapsing at the knees don't get respect here. Neither do please don't tackle me I'm scared handballs that miss their target count as "handballs of god."

What I do love about Daycare though is after your big win yesterday one of the training staff embraced him as he arose from the bench and he gave them the "I'm way too important for you, you are beneath me" perfunctory hug without ever looking at them or acknowledging them. You can't purchase that level of self-importance or smug arrogance.

You should be angry about your team desperately needing a percentage boost but failing to gain one against a bottom 3 team with 25 players to choose from, who were expected to win zero games in 2025. You need to get as mad as hell about the fact your club prioritised 43 pointless possessions to Daycare over actually maximising your scoring.

Me, I am too busy calmly planning my pre-dynasty celebratory slash gratitude road trip after watching all our kids waltz the ball from D50 to F50 against "the best team in the AFL" yesterday with such alacrity. It is just whether to take the AU on one final tour or invest some of my betting profits in a Shelby GT Roadster, or a Yangwang U9 and really tear up some highways. Will drive across the Nulla over to Perth to personally thank the Eagles and Dockers for all the draft picks. Then hightail it North East to People First to let the Suns know how grateful I am for the 2024 draft picks as well. Then I might do a 270 and head to the Top End and jump a car ferry to the Tiwis to thank them for sending us Maurice.
