Good for his CV. Also good to gain some experience away from the club in a different environment.
The club has to employ the best mix of people & not fill the corridors with ex players.
Otherwise the boys club mentality kicks in.
He can come back to Collingwood at a later date in a more senior role.

I think that's the plan. Like many, I dont want to see jobs for the boys at Collingwood, mates appointments or yes men - but Maxy is a quality person, speaks his mind, is very driven and direct. Lets hope this works out for him (and us eventually).
