Pinched nerve in the back of the shoulder, should be right for next week..

A strange injury but great news. Looked like an ACL to me.

I was a bit worried when mcDougall didn't compete in his first contest. He looked scared. The few after than he at least made an effort - particularly when the ball was on the ground. Bit worried about his lack of leading in the last two games.

Out Green McDougall

In Hunter Johnson

McDougall deserves another game before being dropped.

Hunter was thrashed by Brad Smith in the WAFL while Johnson didn't really do much either.

Can we say Porno?

Where's Glass and Collica at? At the moment Green is probably the worst player in the comp.

Collica isn't even listed on the injury list and he didn't play for Easts today so who knows. Gaspar and Glass were both listed as 1-2 weeks before this weeks game. We need them both back desperately.

If he's fit I think he will be in the side to play Essendon, in other words he wont get dropped. We dont have any other better options at FF so we may aswell let him learn the hard way. He'll get better.

If I was an eagle supporter I'd be hoping he's not fit. There's something about the boy that doesn't convey a great deal of confidence and I wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson given a crack.

You realise Brad Smith is actually a decent player.

McDougak\ll will be OK in Time.
Presently the team still uses Phil matera as the "go to" man up forward and it will take time for them to adjust to having tall marking forwards up front.
Matera also may need to alter his game. Jako at CHF smotherrs the lead space of a full forward as do the midfielders running forward.
It's all about adjusting to a new structure.

i think this is the perfect oppourtunity for us to say doogs's shoulder is not quite right, and we wont risk such a talented player. i would prefer this to publicly dropping him, after all the publicity he has had over the last 2 weeks. let him get his head right and bring him in against the lions.

btw, why isnt he considered for a key back position. he has the pace and height, and reminds alot of hay. he seems disiplined enough.

Yep I do realise that, and I actually think Brad Smith could be a help to us now if we had him on our list. We are crying out for some decent tall players in the 23-27 age bracket. However, the point I was trying to make is that if Adam Hunter can't stop Brad Smith in the WAFL then he aint going to stop Matthew Lloyd or Scott Lucas in the AFL this week.
