Does anyone else find it strange the Blues are playing the crows at the G and not the Dome. I understand the blues split their home games but surely the Blues v Hawks game in Rd 22 would be better at the G and this game at the dome

I don't think we have ever played the Crows at the G before.

Western Bulldogs vs West Coast is scheduled for the Dome Saturday night which is probably why we are playing at the G. (and also to fulfill our quote of home games at the G)

Yes, odd. But Carlton's game is better suited to the G. R22 would be a candidate to shift the game esp if Carlton remain competitive, but the pig-headed AFL won't budge, even if the MCG is vacant.

yehh we have dont you remember, 2001 qualifying final, lappin dominated kicked like 6 goals and the end for jarman. Nothing better than playing at the G', i hate the dome!

If not swapped suggest Round 22 will re-bust the standing attendance record there between the clubs.

I see your point but i would rather play the crows at the G, since they have only played there once a year for the last four years. Should give us an advantage if the weather holds up and it doesn't rain, if it does rain that advantage will be lost and probably go to the crows. Not sure what sort of crowd we will get at the game, but hopefully over fifty would be great.

The other highlights were Kouta's 37 touches, 3 goals and Jimmy Plunkett's 35 and 2 in his first final!

Great game, besides the G is also our home ground, we play much better there.

All tied up with the fact Judd asked to go to a club that plays majority of its games at the G...

So he did want to go to Collingwood?

have been told that we will be seeking to have all our home games at the G when our current arrangement with the Dome and G finishes. Much better as we are far more suited to the G because Fev always dominates and so does Juddy.

Oh yeah the important final is played there :D

Nothing strange at all. The AFL manipulate the draw to allow interstate teams games at the G and apart from big games like Essendon/Collingwood other like Hawthorn/Geelong at TD. I call these Collo's matches now.

Not only do Carlton play better at the G but Fev LOVES playing at the G. He loves the space, which allows him to make wide leads.

I say stuff playing at the Dome the G has become a fortress for us.
