I still say Kenny is the best 'actual' chb in the league, and McPharlin is the only one I'd take over him.

True. Kenny was not beaten once last season.

also good to remember that tredrea isnt that good. Didnt impose himself at all. I thought last week that he looked much bigger, but it looks like he is the same as last season, still the king of the uncontested mark. This is the first time kenny has played on him in a long time and i hope it continues in the future, will help us win many more showdowns.

Kenny dominated Tredrea and should play on him every Showdown. He hasn't been in the best form so far but the gutsy mark last week against Collingwood showed he might be coming back to his best.

Today proved it.

Will he play on Hall next week? Or will Bassett take him?

Truck Rutten played well on Hall last time and Basset played on O'Loughlin leaving McGregor O'Keefe which allowed Kenny to play as a linkman out of defence. Worked well IIRC.

BTW Every CHF = Son of Kenny!

Well I am putting my hand up. I said Kenny was out of form and I was not comfortable in playing him on Tredders.

How wrong was I?:D

Kenny was simply suprb today. He stuck to Tredders like a glue. Wore him like a glove and just didn't give him any breathing space. Exceptional effort from Kenny today. That mark was a real pearler.

I think our backline as a whole is coming along very nicely. Torney just adds another dimension to it :)

Yep, you were wrong Stiffy ... but so has the whole coaching staff up until now for their refusal to play Kenny (our best defender) on Tredders (their best forward). Hopefully everyone has seen the light.

I agree our defence was great today. Their resting rucks usually give us dramas, so Rutten did a great job, Where was White (Hounddog day). JT BOG & Stiffy mopped up everything.

yep so true.

It was good to see the other young CHF talent doing so well too. Damon White will be just a SANFL CHF thats about it atm.

Yep, thought Kenny was good today, played a good game. Don't want to give him ALL the credit though, our midfield pressure ensured that Tredders didn't get good supply and also forced Tredders further up the ground (almost to HBF) to get some of the football.

You'd take McPharlin over Leppitsch ?
