Whats the latest on him? Is he staying/going? I heard early in the year Carlton were targeting him and that he wanted to come back to VIC. If he did what would the cost be?

Sign him up. 40+ goals in his first full season. Should get some Rising Star votes, although no one seems to have noticed him.

can understand but pick 24 is valuable.
the last un-compromised draft for quite some time and seeming how this draft talent up to pick 40 you will get something good, plus i've heard west coast want to be in the best position at the draft table.

ofcourse west coast wouldn't want to trade him, but rumour has it that he wants to come back home. can't hold him agianst his will, if the rumour is infact true.

Don't know about rumours

But a fact is that his parents were interviewed a few weeks ago at half time during the Melbourne game on TV. They suggested he was very happy living in W.A

Those rumours are made up by people on BF & media people who want to sell papers.
 
should be signing up soon i hope...i'd rather keep him even if carlton gave up something of worth.

you dont trade your promising (and performing) young players.

I dont get this mentality that seems to be fashionable at the moment.

How is an unknown picked at 24 in the draft more valuable than a 20 year old we have already put three years of development into, and has been a very handy player in his first full season?:confused:

Is mckinley up 4 trade

Alot of talk especially by the collingwood supporters that they are after Ben Mckinley

Does he want to leave West Coast and come back to victoria (if he is from her originally)

Why are people saying this?

people are simple speedpeck. they like to add 1 and 1 together.

for example: ben mckinley is drafted to west coast, he cries...ben mckinley plays good football for west coast...ben mckinley is from victoria and not in contract.

if mckinley was crap and never played a game, we wouldnt hear anything about this. he has stated that he wishes to be at west coast next year so i'd assume he'll sign on.
