Got a reprimand with good behaviour :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Would have got a reprimand with or without good behaviour!

Guilty plea would bring it below 100 points anyway

The good behaviour just reduces the carryover points by about 23

That was a BS call that one

he was the player the AFL/MRP decided to make an example of for the new bump rules when a player has their head over the ball

No way would that get 4 weeks now, he was protecting the ball and it was just unlucky he cleaned up Grover as well. He wasn't looking so maybe he'd get 1 or 2, but the bump was there to protect the ball and whoever was going for the ball (McPharlin I think would have got there)

Is it just me or is weird that if you unintentionally knock someone's head with a shoulder / elbow you're in trouble but if you unintentionally launch into the back of someone's head with a knee at full tilt (Mayne) or accidently kick someone skwar in the nuts, it's not even looked at?

I see your point. I guess the difference is intent. With a bump you're deliberately trying to hit a guy. With a mark you're trying to use him as a step ladder.

But if you watch the vision Mayne only hits Mattner in the back of the head because Rhys Shaw tries to bump Mayne off his line after Mayne has taken off for the mark. Brings Mayne's knee out of it's original line and straight into the back of poor old Mattner's head.

And Pav's case was just horrible luck.
