Mcphee & NLM to sit out for 1 week

I think McPhee was quite harsh to get a week. he tried to stop, he was doing the right thing and they still gave him a week.

The problem is he made contact the player fell down then he raised his arms into the air. A bit late i reckon

I think McPhee was unlucky. The guy bent down late for the ball and McPhee tried to pull out of it. You can say they're trying to stamp out ALL head high, which would be ok, but it needs to be treated consistently.

NLM's wasn't that much different to what Fev did on the weekend and to what Goodes has done repeatedly, so why the different outcomes? I saw someone else (can't remember) escape the weekend's review after slamming into the back of a player clearly not expecting any contact. That was far more dangerous than McPhee. The tribunal/MRP decisions don't follow logic, but I suppose we're all pretty used to that by now.

That was Beau Waters slamming into Eddie Betts and I agree he got off lightly there. Was very reminiscent and actually a lot worse than Lloyd's 'charge' into Nathan Carroll that saw him suspended last season.
