A Murphy type role is what he needs to score well and it's not out of the question. Probably depends a bit on midfield supply as well. (Smiles as he tries to imagine Jobe Watson hitting him lace out:)).
:D He's only kicked the thing about twice this year, handballs to Mcphee are no good. Myers could be our last hope.

Not interested doesnt score well enough as a forward and it seems that is where he will remain. I would go so far as to say it wasnt as much lucas coming back then it was essendon firing on the weekend that got him a decent score, but how often will essendon do that?

I reckon he will be starved for opportunities most weeks like all the essendon forwards so im gonna look elsewhere for now.

I imagine him playing a bit of a Richardson role, spending alot of time up on the wing, and occasionally dropping back to the half back line to set up play.

Will NOT average much more than Ibbo.

Over the course of the entire season, maybe not.

But from here on in I think there will be a significant difference. Lucas coming back into the team will help McPhee a huge amount.

Also, McPhee provides a fair bit of an x-factor which could prove to be extremely useful especially if you are still in eliminator, as I am. McPhee has the capacity to pull out a massive score here and there which could be the difference between a win and a loss, whereas Ibbotson will be good for a consistent 70.

I took a risk this week and picked him up. With the lack of backline options I believed that the difference between him and the next best option would not be great and even in my favour. It completed my backline and I reckon he was very unlucky last night just from what I saw in the 1st half. He missed an open goal 15 meters out, had kicks miss him or fall at his feet in and dropped a mark in the goal square.

I agree. At one stage he was so close to marking the ball turning and slotting the goal for 12pts but instead fumbled the mark and gave away free kick so got -3. Thats the difference between 65 and 80.

I did Eliis out McPhee in.

Didn't come off last night but will be sure to keep a close eye on Ellis to see if i made the right move or not. Won't get too worried yet.

Goes up by a couple of grand.
Sky rockets the week after if he scores big again.
