Although my concern is for Cousins health, I am utterly disgusted with the behaviour of the dim witted journalists in this country.

Time to name and shame the moronic journos who are making stupid comments that are jumping to conclusions without facts.

1. Channel Nine early news jumping to a conclusion that they obviously so dearly want. Blonde bimbo implying that the Cousins addiction has bought about the incident and definitely implied there was a connection and ben had relapsed.

2. The worst I've heard so far. On AM radio this morning Michael Slater - absolute goose that has lost my respect. Suggested that caffiene tablets are surely outlawed in AFL and what is a known drug user in Cousins doing with prescription drugs. That is the most idiotic thing I have heard so far. You are a total fool Slater.
A fine example of what the ill informed are sprouting.

At least 'on the couch last night' a commentator that has integrity and brains in James Heard said that he use to take sleeping pills and caffenine tablets and it was common place.

It's clear the media is just salvitating at the thought that cousins took illegal drugs again purely and simply for ratings. He's been convicted and hung by most of them well before we know the facts. Until the club has spoken to ben and made an official statement Im not believing anything.

As frustrating as we all find it we shouldn't be suprised, shit will always eventually find it's own level. The bulk of the names mentioned have little or no experience at AFL or elite level sport (Slater excluded, he's just a dill) and truly would not have a clue in what professional athletes go through to perform at the required levels.
Enough has been said about that tryhard Hutchy who is a smug (god knows why?), fat baldy bully. He's derogatory treatment of Caro on classified would make front page news if it were anyone else, (ie. Sam Newman, anyone?). That said Caro is generally overtly critical of Richmond and I have no sympathy for her.
Thankfully we do have access to some ex players who actually know what they are talking about like Hird, Richo, Jakovich, Ricciuto, etc. These guys tell how it is without the need sensationlise, they are able to draw on their own experiences and don't need to raise their profile by making outlandish statements. The print media on the otherhand are always just looking for their next big headline in order to sell papers. The herald sun and age would always prefer to write 'recovering drug addict Ben Cousins' than 'brownlow medalist, premiership player, all australian, etc. Ben Cousins'.

I've just sent an email to F Classified saying that they have lost me as a viewer.
It's late at night, copies On The Couch, is poorly researched, no expert opinion/analysis and is just tabloid crap. Hutchison called Ben a drug addict just to sensationalise and get a reaction. Well he got one from me. I will not watch that show again and they now know it.
The only way to make them pay is if they lose viewers. We can't sit here and whinge and then tune in to watch. SEND A MESSAGE.

Yep those 2 pieces of human waste should never have been given Hall of Fame status and after watching Footy Classified last night, I won't be tuning in again. Props to Dermie for trying to keep things sane and civil, but all the people on that show are try-hard losers.

Perfect example was last night with hutchy, when Cousins did his interview on the counch he said he was disappointed that the media doesnt sometimes do enough research about drug addicts, yet last night Hutchy was standing on his soap box sprouting once a drug addict always a drug addict. I feel that the unfair media treatment applied to West Coast's management in 2008 was the difference between Ben staying at West Coast and leaving. If they just left him and the club alone, who knows, the outcome might have been different.

I guess we'll see if Richmond are as weak-gutted as West Coast in this case.
