In all seriousness, just got home and watched the replay of the second half. I must say, in that last 10 mins it was as close as I'd get to supporting a side that wasn't my own. Magnificent win.

Nathan Jones may not be the classiest player, or receive the accolades he deserves, but he was inspirational; severly underrated. Always gives 100% and no matter where you guys sit. Grimes stood up when needed I really thought Magner was great, has been a great find. Watts was really good from what I saw too. I just hope you can play with the heart you showed tonight for the majority of the season.

Would be more likely better stuff said about Hurley than Watts. Don't care, Watts has been terrific the last 3 weeks - exactly the same as this time last year

Yeah, had a decent amount of contested ball too. Had a few plays where he didn't get a possie as well, such as involved in a contest and then a tap to a team mate at ground level, or just a sheppard/body check which opened up another demon out the back.

I said after our hard fought win against you a few weeks back that you would win games this year if you kept up that same effort and intensity and you did tonight and just to make it even better you did it against those arrogant Essendon w***ers.

Nathan Jones is having a genuine A grade season 25 touches and a goal a game, all be topped up with plenty of clearances, hard ball gets and tackles. He would get a game in any midfield in the comp.
