Neither were most players when they started out.... you either give him a chance or keep him on the list untouched which will be a real waste. If he has a real good crack at it than he'll improve and may become one of our best 22 players, but if you keep him on the sidelines he will get nowhere and his salary and space on the list will be a complete waste... the way I see it we got nothing to lose by giving him a go.

Regardless you don't put a player who is not as good as 15 others into the side just to try them out, if there are injuries... yes, if he proves himself as an excellant player in the VFL... yes, otherwise, IMO it's unlikely.

Well he has proved himself in the VFL and the things is injuried and suspensions etc always come up so you never know....

I don't believe he has proven himself as an "excellant" player in the VFL, from what I have heard he has played well and done a few good things. I'm just saying I don't think he will make it, if he does I'll be more than happy, and will admit my prediction was wrong. Only time will tell...
