We had no power from 7.10-10.30.

I also live around the same area as you.

This is from the top of my street.

Couldn't get that link to work in the post, lucky we have insurance. Got away lightly though compared to others.

Whoah, count yourself lucky you didn't lose two-thirds of your trees plums.

The sun room was soaked, plus the vacuum cleaner, with holes in the corrugated plastic roof, the filters for the air con were smashed (unfortunately my dad had decided to wash them yesterday morning and leave them outside to dry) but nothing compares to the travesty that befell the plum trees. Its blood red plums are unrivaled in the world of the fruit. :(

North-east suburbs copped it pretty bloody hard. Diamond Creek, Hurstbridge, Eltham. Carnage.

I'm in Hurstbridge; hail the size of grapes just shredded the tree foliage. Neighbors had plenty of damage; I have two hail damaged cars and a yard covered in vegetation.

Hurstbridge train line gone until Wednesday. The damage is somewhere in Eltham. Might go for a walk and check it out tomorrow morning.

Some of the damage I saw heading to the cricket today was unbelievable. Fences gone, tree clippings everywhere, dirt covering the road so bad you had to drive at 20 in the 40 zones just so your car wouldn't get damaged.

Found today while cleaning my car (which took 45 minutes to an hour) that it's got a few dimples in its roof. Will insurance cover it?

Any plum problems?

I was in Thornbury and Glen Waverley yesterday for to visit my grandparents for Christmas. Where I was we were lucky there was no hailstorm just heavy rain at times and then it stopped for a bit. It was a very unstable atmosphere watching the clouds in Glen Waverley yesterday late afternoon. On the news tonight they said Melton, Taylors Lakes and Keilor got the worst of the storms.

Melbourne's Crazy Weather or what other Cray weather have you seen, heard etc...

T'was a white christmas for sure.

First time I have ever seen something white genuinely hit that low here.

You guys mind if I tweaked the thread title?

I got blown into a car while crossing the road today. The driver laughed his ass off. Paid it though. Would have looked pretty damn funny for him.
