Thoughts? Any surprises?

Big drop for the Dogs.
Very concerning.

North, Dogs and Suns concerning.

got to remember we had 6 months of media/social media saying we would be absolutely dead last which makes it hard to sign up bandwagon supporters. weve dropped 5k in 2 years since we were playing finals/9 in a row.

its not good enough dont get me wrong but we're only a couple of thousand behind melb and stk who had unlimited positivity and finals talk all preseason to help bring in bandwagon fans.

*i could see us jumping stk/dogs next year if stk dont finish year off strong and we snuck into finals

Not sure you need to sneak into finals, the door seems to be open.

We had a big spike post-premiership and the bandwagon has dropped off.

Not ideal but hardly a massive concern. Without that big spike it’d have been more consistent.

Adz taking time for a weak shot at the dogs isn’t a surprise

I don't know if any of them are concerning. The Dogs are shedding premiership bandwagoners, which happens. The Suns are still growing, albeit slowly. 40k+ for all Melbourne clubs is solid.

GWS at 25k is impressive, too.
Gws at 25 k is more than impressive.

Most rugby league clubs would sell their left nut for that figure

Happy with the Tigers - in fact astounded >100,000 :thumbsu:

WC new stadium, god performances, fantastic result

Bombers - brilliant for them. Seriously huge fan base and doing well despite their situation over the last few years

Pies :p

Giants and Lions :thumbsu::thumbsu: Fantastic work. Looks like the Giants are creating a genuine fan base fairly quickly. Awesome.

Fair point. I retract my comment about North.

Dogs can not afford another 10% drop next year.

In an ideal world you'd have held onto most of the bandwagoners and converted them.

Would appear Hawthorn have done so.

Essendon will be the biggest club in the country when we start achieving success again. 80k members after going through the worst period, on-field and off, in our history is an amazing result. About to announce the biggest sponsorship deal in the AFL too.

Surprising result for Collingwood. To be one of only 2 clubs to lose members (alongside the Bulldogs, who are bleeding members after a honeymoon period) isn't a great look.

Worst period in terms of storylines but has also created a massive "**** everyone else, let's show them we still support this club" mentality that may have helped memberships.
