That's a good effort. Now, if we could get the supporters who havent signed because of the election to sign, we'd be well on the way to 25,000.

im sorry, but i dont keep track of when i send in my membership forms... but i do know it was quite late... i got about 2 weeks after i sent it in, and it got to me the week before family day... but they'd called me a million times and they knew i was signing up, so i dunno, maybe they kept a spot for me or something :confused:
 
Well, I don't think that U guys have beaten last years number but its still pretty good! Hawthorn has a record membership number at 33,000 odd and are sitting 5th behind West Coast, Port Adelaide, Adelaide and Essendon. Not that you guys really care. Imagine it we had merged:

B- Smith, Hay, Nicholson
HB - McCabe, Ellis, Rawlings
C- Yze, Crawford, Johnstone
HF- Holland, Swartz, Robertson
F- Dixon, Neitz, Chick
R- White, Powell, Lekkas

Inter- N Thompson,Bruce, Brown, Woewodin

50,000 plus members!!


What a dream.;) That team is only rough, and of course and I don't quite know enough about all your players, so if I missed some good ones, sorry!:D

you put woewodin on the bench?!?! how could you?!?! but yeah it'd be a good team... but i think that if you merged any 2 clubs and just took their best players you'd have a good team... im bloody happy we didn't merge tho!! i couldn't not have the melbourne demons!!!

Oh, sorry about Woey, what.....U don't think he should be in the side at all;)

And yeah, definately good that they didn't merge, cause then we would be supporting the same team and I couldn't handle that.....U girls are way too crazy for me.;) :D
 
I think peoples support for both clubs would have dropped off if we had merged, I don't think there would even be that 33,000 members that Hawthorn has by itself to be truthful.

hey!! we aren't thaaaaaaat bad!!! (much) we can be normal - at times... and hey, if these guys can cope, then so could you! :p

lol, if woey wasn't in the side, i might just have to go and kill who ever it was that made the side! (of course i wouldn't kill you stu!!) but i guess its good you included him at all... hehe
