Anyone know where we're at with membership figures? What's out target this year?

Last year they had the update on the website, but it's obviously not there this year (or no where I can see anyway)

There would probably be a good reason why our membership telly is not up on the site. ;)

I think last I heard we were somewhere around 13,000; geez, I hope that is not the truth, but wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it was.

Heard Frank Costa on the K-Rock pre-match say we are at about 15,000, which is about 1,000 up from this time last year. Pretty good.

15,000 is a very good achievement considering everything that's been going on.

Last night's Wizard Cup win will generate a few more members.

It might be a good year for band-wagoners. With Geelong not having a home match until relatively late into the season, then a good start to the regular season would enable all those fair-weather supporters to jump on the bandwagon while a membership ticket still represents good value.

Here we go...

Looks as though we are sitting around 15,000.

How often will this be updated? I remember we had the actual figure last year, updated weekly.

Surely we've added a further few more to our membership telly!

I think they've forgotten about it! :p

I betcha it’s that shocker of an ad that attracts those members! :p;)

Are you still using that: “Oh we’re the Saints, we’re marching in” ad where it’s filmed around the beach?

Good on ya...do you want a medal? In case you haven't noticed, this is the Geelong board so it might surprise you to know we don't really care. Well, I don't anyway.

BTW, we'll see you in Wiz Cup GF and in Round 1.

Go Cats!

They seem to have updated it now, from the pic im guessing we have high 15000s maybe 16000
I know of a heap of people yet to renew, but will in the not to distant future. So if that’s what the prognosis is just from me, I would imagine that we have quite a few still to put pen to paper who were members last year. Not to forget the late joiners.

We are at 15,542 as of March 3. (Fourth last on the Victorian membership ladder, ahead of Kangaroos, Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs.)

That doesn't surprise me at all. :(

GFC membership does not entitle you to a free entry; you have to pay for a General Admission ticket at the gate.

Prices are something like: Juniors $2.20, Concession $8.50, Adults $12.50

Ah crap, thought adult was $8.50.

Never paid general admission, does a Deakin Student Card constitute a concession?

A mate just told me it's $14 for adults.

Seems pretty steep. I don't use GA, but apparently it's only $16 for the real stuff.

For only $8 i can dig it and ill get to sit down the bottom rather than being stuck in the usual nose-bleed section

I know the 3rd level blows but is the first level better than the second?

To be honest, the 3rd level aint that bad, it gives you a good view of all the ground and lets you see players runs, moves etc. The 2nd level is of course superior but thats why it costs the most money to sit there on match days. 1st level is good because you are close to the action. Spose i cant be too fussy, hell i stand at the SS matches!
