Can anyone tell me collingwoods current membership base? are we cloe to 40,000?

Can't tell you current but they were at 39 500 about a month ago, must be close.

Yeah, club says 39,000 plus, and it is hard to believe, but it is a true figure.

When they were released in the Sun weeks back, Pies had around 28,000 for memory, behind the Dons...I got my membership later that week at Princes Park, and I am sure with footy back in Melbourne, plenty would've done the same.

Will be great to crack 40k though, which may have been done!

I was surprised by the 39 thou figure a few weeks ago , but I doubt they'd bother exaggerating it as it's something that will eventually be proven.

Don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather we be beating Essendon in the Premiership talley.

I don't think anyone would argue that. However if you care about membership numbers, it doesn't mean you don't want to win premierships.
