Memorabilia - Photo's.

Hello all,

I'm wanting to get starting on my memorabilia and was hoping you guys might be able to point me in the right direction.

I like making my own "one of a kind" pieces and are looking for websites that i can browse photo's from (and not just limited to the grand final).

I've found this: http://www.newsphotos.com.au which is very helpful, however i was wondering if the Geelong faithful know of any others.

There's gettyimages and AFL Photos, but there are watermarks over their pictures.

Thanks. I tried getty images and they don't seem to have much.

I don't mind the watermarks, i want to purchase professional photo's.

Yeah, that's because AFL Photos is the main site for footy pics now. There are pictures from the VFL Grand Final on Getty though.

Fairfax Digital used to have pictures too, but you need to be a member to see them.

Not 100% if you can access it online, but the Herald Sun shop at Southbank has some great photos. You can view them in the shop. Even on their crappy monitor they looked great.

you know what funny, they had that stuff for sale ready to go about 1hr after the game at the dinner,i couldnt belive how quickly they pump this stuff out.

I bought a few Gary snr photo's from their just after the great man retired and got them framed & mounted with a nice signed pic in the middle. I also had one that I ordered from the addy put in their as well so all in all it's about 1m x 2m with 7 photo's in it. Hanging up in my sons room ATM and looks a treat. It's a one of a kind that's for sure. Now that was in 1997 when I had it made up so I'm sure that the H/S shop will have a heap of photo's loaded on their system now.

I ordered the photo with Gary and Nathan Ablett holding the cup from the AFL site. Great pic! My GFC number plates arrived today. I ordered them before the grand final. I'm very happy!
