Otten was still in terrible pain after being kicked in the balls a bit earlier.
Would love to see Gieschen try and defend that decision.

i get what you mean, but i think that was more evident in the early 90's than it is now. most clubs don't give the preverbial shit that we are from SA, they just play whose in front of themyou know it does frustrate me that the club doesn't make more of our rivarly with these clubs
The vic clubs love beating us, they may not admit it, butthe Crows are the natural enemy to the majority of the vic based clubs.
It would be great if the AFC could someone leverage off this when building a greater profile in Victoria - if anything, we could be the great Villian the Vic Media are looking for (well we already are but you get my drift)

perhaps, but even from the fans I talk to, they love beating the Crows.i get what you mean, but i think that was more evident in the early 90's than it is now. most clubs don't give the preverbial shit that we are from SA, they just play whose in front of them
When Mods took that mark, the girl sitting in front of me accidentally poked me in the eye with the pointy end of her flag stick.
I consequently missed the goal, and the next ten minutes of action as I desperately tried to weather the pain and regain my vision.
Who the hell waves a flag after a mark anyway?
The definite lowlight was getting thrashed in the 2001 Elimination Final at the MCG. I was sitting near the boundary behind Darren Jarman as he kicked what would be his last goal in the AFL during the final quarter. Sad day.
Yeh but he played really well had he had kicked straight would have been a different game. Task Kicked 2 golas late but missed 3 or 4 earlier and had about 2 touched right on the line.I was there that day. We never looked like winning. Even as a young kid I knew Sean Tasker wasn't the answer at half forward.......
The thing I always remember about Waverley Park was how much space there was between the goal line and the fence. If you wanted to give it to the opposition cheer squad after kicking a goal you had to run a half marathon.
Was GREAT day indeed, Roo was super brilliant.. It also took the heat off of Ayres if I recall correct. And yes it was bloody cold haha.Princess Park, 2001
Absolute stinker of day - miserable rain, probably less than 10 degrees. Only maybe 15 goals total kicked between the two sides.
Mark Ricciuto stands up to kick 4 goals to single handedly will us over the line in.

2012 when we won by 69 points I believe. That was the day we became a legitimate force that year IMO. Danger was incredible. Was out first win in Melbourne for quite a while I believe.
Jenkins sprint through wing/half forward and big goal at 2:53 was delicious..
Danger's ribs broke Murphy's shoulder..
Sparkling footy that day..
