Should be on the media board, but yeah I've watched it afew times and it's not too bad.

It has it's moments for me.

I resisted it for years but saw a show one day and have a huge fan ever since. Dont like the ones with Dermot though I much prefer Tony.

The epsiode where the lads get drunk and do the "I am sailing" routine on the pub floor is canned pi.ss! Anyone who hasn't seen this show yet:

[molly] do yourselves a favour and go get it![/molly][cowboyhat smilie]

Tony's home tattooing is the most painful scene I've seen on a comedy. One of those comedy series that starts off slowly but actually gets a lot better.

Brilliant episode. My fave is "In Bed with Dorothy", where Tony tries out his glasses for the first time.

I've got a few MBB books too: The script book is worth reading. It's got scripts to a little more than half the episodes, with some notes by the author. The novel "Men Behaving Badly" on which the series was based is a little disappointing, but interesting insofar as there are some differences between the telly series and the original story. Also got "The A-Z of behaving badly", one of those tacky coffee-table books designed to cash in on the series popularity. Give this one a miss.

Where the 2 girls come over from next door for a bbq, while Dorothy and Deborah are away, is my personal favourite.

Love the show, one of my all time favourites.

Own all the DVDs too (cost me too much, but I get enough use out of them :) )

Favourites series are 4 and 5, with classics like "Drunk" (Saaaaiiillling) and "Cardigan" (the rave episode).

"Brill-yant !"

I've just flicked this over to the Media and Entertainment board from the General Talk board ... in case if I've confused yers.

I love MBB ... the sauna episode is great, and then there was the one with the birthing pool. Not to mention the nightclub trip.

Great show!

the scene when Gary is on the lounge with a blow-up sex doll swigging beer

"Your Mate vs Your Bird"

Give him a break, who was he going to have intelligent chats with when Tony moved out ?

"It's racey but never over steps the mark"

:D

Can you please tell me where you can get the DVD's from. I have been looking for them for a while and havent seen any of them. I am dying to but some DVD's of them.

Can anyone help me?

Well I got mine as a box set from Wesley Megastore in Perth.

They also have them all in JB Hifi, ABC Shop (i think) and had some in MYER if I remember correctly.

They are pretty easy to find over here, I don't know about the rest of the country though.

If all else fails, there are usually a few Australian based sellers selling them on ebay australia.

Might be worth a try, hope that helped :)

A classic - one of the greats shows and stil funny on DVD, even though I've seen them so many times.
I like the wedding episode, when Tony utters the immortal line - "I was just wondering what colour your bush is" to Debs.

Another great line from Gary -
"Bed is for sleepy people - lets get a kebab and go to a disco."

**** funny.

Always remember being reminded of MBB when first going into London by train and was amazed to see so many backyards exactly as Tony's & Gary's was, except i couldn't see any sheds that had been turned into sauna's!!

That's because they all blew up I think.
;)

Absolute ball tearer of a show - just in at cd store around the corner is the complete dvd box set, pay day tomorrow = -$170 for beer and women.

You couldn't tell me where that is could you mate?

I'm dying to get the collection.

We just nearly finished watching the entire set on DVD, and the thing that blows me away is hearing Kipper the Dog (Martin Clunes) and Bob the Builder (Neil Morissey) talking the way they talk.....being a parent withtwo kids who love watching ABC for kids, I have become pretty familiar with the shows they watch.

Absolutely hilarious show.

Snaaake Maaiite!
