How awful has it been today? Soft Free kicks that I don't even know what are for, plus Brisbane get a free kick in the midfield, while thats happening - Johnson headbutts Parker and gets reported. Why is that not a relayed free kick? In soccer do they flash a red card in the penalty box for a punch in hte face then say its not a penalty? no.

LMAO. You lot have had the best of the umpiring by a absolute mile. If it wasnt for the umps you would be 5 or 6 goals down. Open both eyes
 
Haven't sen the free kick count but at half time I'd say it would be about 15-8 in our favour.

The free kick count doesn't matter.. its the reasons for the free kicks in the first place - especially when the umpires tell you that you can use a forearm to hold someone - Tarrant does and he gets pinged for in the back.

You're allowed to hold someone with the forearm, but not push them, Tarrant got pinged for a push.

Incorrect, there was no push, there was just a big dive forward from the defender. Good con artist that man. I still can't believe we have Nicholls umpiring us after he deliberately tried to ruin us last year at Aurora.

I though the umpiring today was atrocious but in our favour.

Did you like Eade's comments last night about Robbie Flower always getting free kicks and Leigh Mathews never getting a free? Nailed how Judd is untouchable.
 
I was at the game, sitting with an Essendon supporter friend. She said, you guys as in Brisbane were very fortunate today, A few crowd frees,when on the replay there was nothing to be seen.

Although we have been on the end of the bad umpiring stick before today, it makes a change that we weren't today.
