Correct, getting the ball to the outside is more imperative. You need a good quick endurance athlete which most clubs have in abundance to be the icing. We just dont have enough quality on the outside either atm.

Mate you can be contested beasts inside but if you give up possession through being rushed or tackled you getting it first doesn't matter what matters is how u use it once you get it. This is where outside runners dominate the game and most coached tend to tag the outside runners for that reason.

You're also comparing apples to oranges and selling Smith short by suggesting he can be covered by Hartung and Hendo
