I'm just messing around, but they are very similar.

I got the idea from David Smorgon taking over the club at the end of 1996 and renaming it Western Bulldogs.
The thought at the time was the club was moving to Western Sydney and would not have to change its name any further.
I thought they would do something that tied the club back to the Footscray history in an attempt to retain Melbourne based members amongst existing Bulldogs supporters.

I was more saying the actual designs are similar, but like a said, just messing around.

That's really good Sam. The yoke design looks much better in our colours with the FFC and not the silly diamond design.
