Just saw his inclusion on the Footy Show... I really hope he shows something, I've had high hopes for this kid

We certainly got overly excited by the vision of a guy who could kick.
He must have had the best training run ever known to man to come straight back in.
maybe this kid needs to have his eyes opened to what he might want to stick around for, when he runs onto the G with a full house pumping this week.![]()
I'm really excited to see this again. Lets hope that he gets some gametime and really gets some momentum up for next year. He could be the "X"-factor player we are missing.

Danny wont be on the MCG on the weekend due to hip surgery the other week, should have been done a long time ago.He is off his crutches cant run for 6 weeks living in the gym.Would give anything to be out on the MCG with his mates.

Has played all year injured shoulder preseason trials knee, hip not one to complain. So frustrating for him like all the boys enjoys playing at Coburg and would have loved to play in finals, not much chance to play in finals for RFC
Well if he'd pulled his finger out in the last few years and played to the level we all know he's capable of, then perhaps we might've participated in a few finals.
But regardless, hope he gets a good chance to prove himself. Tend to agree with Maquis though, smacks of Tom Roach.

Difference between Meyer and Roach is that Roach had a good last name.Well if he'd pulled his finger out in the last few years and played to the level we all know he's capable of, then perhaps we might've participated in a few finals.

Not disputing Meyer and Roach are different players. Hell what two players are identical? Point is Meyer is being given his last rights... a-la Roach.

The game is a commemoration of Sheeds career. TW wouldn't be getting into the spirit of things if he didn't pull a few Sheedy-like selections. Then why have they picked him in the FP for this weekend?
I know he was injured,I don't know why they're rushing him back. I reckon they should keep him again for next year( if he wants to?) and let him play finals at Coburg.
OK I just read that you think they're playing games. If so, why? Is Sheedy going to change his game plan if Meyer is in or not? I'd rather them name people that are a genuine chance to be in the side.

Spot on. Tom Roach got given a charity game against West Coast as a farewell game. Seems the same might be for Meyer.
Didn't think I was making any comparison between Meyer and Roach aside from that...![]()
