Hopefully he plays well enough to impress the SA clubs and improve his trade value. He does not seem to want to play for us but at least we might get something/someone decent for him if he shows some class.

the problem with a lot of tiger heads is that they will hang him out to dry on what he shows us in this game. When there are others who have been afforded a lot of latitude, after showing us JS for the best part of 6 or 7 years.
Still believe this kid will come good on what his coach suggested to us back when he was first drafted. TW dont make those kind of statements for nothing.

Danny wont be on the MCG on the weekend due to hip surgery the other week, should have been done a long time ago.He is off his crutches cant run for 6 weeks living in the gym.Would give anything to be out on the MCG with his mates.

I know he was injured,I don't know why they're rushing him back. I reckon they should keep him again for next year( if he wants to?) and let him play finals at Coburg.

OK I just read that you think they're playing games. If so, why? Is Sheedy going to change his game plan if Meyer is in or not? I'd rather them name people that are a genuine chance to be in the side.

Well if he'd pulled his finger out in the last few years and played to the level we all know he's capable of, then perhaps we might've participated in a few finals.

disagree, tom roach was brainless when it came to footy smarts. THis kid is brainless when it comes to non footy smarts, i.e. just a kid that is looking for direction. Non footy smarts can be worked on.

Difference between Meyer and Roach is that Roach had a good last name.
Myer is loaded with talent just needs a good kick up the arse.

The game is a commemoration of Sheeds career. TW wouldn't be getting into the spirit of things if he didn't pull a few Sheedy-like selections.

As for Meyer, I agree with what Cogga Rules said.

I got excited in that game when he had 3 possessions in the opening 2 minutes...he finished with 4.
