I know l'm going against the trend here... but l want to give him one more year. Completely agree with all the laziness comments, but l just reckon he may be "the one" who takes a bit longer and if we wait, he'll fire.

Fingers crossed :o
If Tigerfan22 is correct with regard to the injuries he has carried for the year, it is little wonder he has not done much.

Only into his 3rd (?) year and to let him go would be ridiculous. He has the skills, just needs to build up the size and mature and he will go ok. Am a big wrap for Danny Meyer, just the small classy things he does from time to time. Needs to do it more consistantly, but will with a bit more maturity. A much much better player than Tommy Roach

Can anyone explain to me why Jackson was dropped? Surely his Collingwood game and his efforts of Kerr would keep him in the side.

Just seems to me that Meyer is being set up to fail yet again. He hasn't established himself as a senior regular, and has been injured, yet is being called up to the big time without sustained Coburg form? If he struggles, the nay-sayers will be calling for his head. Due to his talent, lack of games because of injury and being an early draft pick, surely he is worth hanging on to for at least another season. Don't do another Rodan.

We let go over Rodan at the right time... l honestly think that Meyer will by far exceed Rodans ability.

By the looks of it the club has tried to play a swifty here. Meyer was never going to play, jackson was dropped so he could "play" for Coburg today (by way of stepping on the ground) and thus qualify for the Coburg finals.

Jackson will come in tomorrow for Meyer

Huh? Why name him in the starting 18 then?

Then why have they picked him in the FP for this weekend?

I know he was injured,I don't know why they're rushing him back. I reckon they should keep him again for next year( if he wants to?) and let him play finals at Coburg.

OK I just read that you think they're playing games. If so, why? Is Sheedy going to change his game plan if Meyer is in or not? I'd rather them name people that are a genuine chance to be in the side.

Jackson needed 1 more Coburg game to qualify him for the finals. He was named for Coburg, but did not play. Coburg played with 21 instead.

Meyer is on crutches?

WHo wants to put money on Meyer being a late withdrawal for Jackson?
