Today's Worst has a feature on young Johnno by Digby Beacham - "I'll do it for Dad." MJ talks about the devastation of losing his father to cancer and how he'll be playing this year for his father who he called his "inspiration". He also talks about maturing as a person - even as a footballer - since the birth of his daughter, who is now 6 months old. It's quite a deep and almost emotional article.

But from a football p.o.v, there were some interesting things he said, including that the goal was to break into the Top 2. It says:

Johnson knows the pressure is on, starting tomorrow, but believes Fremantle are well equiped to handle the increased expectations.
"It's going to be a really tough season, every team is going to be looking at us," he said. "Hopefully, we can get top two and give ourselves a really good chance and that's what we aim to do. We've got experience from the preliminary final and we have to use that experience to get better."

He really seems to be down to earth and level headed. Hopefully he gets plenty of possessions tomorrow to build his confidence up the ground.

Every time I've hear him speak I am impressed. I think I posted some time ago he could be a future captain.

This year should be the year that defines his long term position at the Club both on the field and within the leadership group.
