Irrespective of what happens in the second half, his position is untenable.

We know he is not tactically astute, so if he is meant to be the motivator and relationships guy, he is failing at that too.

Let's get Longmire, I would rather be losing grand finals by 80 points than losing to 16th by 80 points in round 15....not serious or am I serious I dont know !!!
Longmire is a premiership coach who led his team to 4 grand finals, don’t compare him to Voss who couldn’t coach an Auskick team to a flag.

I'd take Clive Palmer at this point.

Warmimng to Simmo as well.

The Voss hire was such that if he failed there had to be a clean out of the senior players and staff that hired him/ were given the benefit of the doubt during Teagues 'turn in charge'.

Voss has to go but so do Loyd and everyone on that wagon... Including the players who can't summons up the work ethic and pride that should be minimum requirements to play for Carlton.

Coaches should focus on fundamentals which Voss obviously and self reportedly doesn't but the players who have let their skills evaporate instead of improve should be thrown away too....

The whole of club is unprofessional. Cook failed, badly.

I don’t rate Voss as a Senior Coach but it is so much more than him.

Voss needs to be one of many changes at the club

Just moving on Voss alone will achieve nothing good
One thread at a time Soapy.😛

Agree with this but he still has to go. Significant list changes at the end of the season too

Has to go because he’ll stay in self-preservation mode and be reluctant to play new players (O’Farrell, Wilson, etc).

Still some things to learn here with our coach.

Voss is all about big bodies and contested ball and this is his achilles heel.

His views on team and the game need to become more balanced.

Teams who have moved away from big slow bodies and embraced speed and high intensity and high effort players are the ones who have excelled.

We were a better team with Dow and Fisher out there than what teams we put forward in finals.

I don't get how we did so well reverting to a faster and more outside team in the second half of the season and then reverted back to a slower, heavier and less mobile team come finals.

Collingwood, GWS and Brisbane went into finals with fast teams who are really good on the outside and did really well that way. We again went the other way.

losing Dow and Fisher could be the difference between us being an also ran or a premiership side. It's that close, what decisions we make now will determine which way we go. Just feel we are going to get it wrong. Maybe that is me being pessimistic after over two decades of getting it wrong.

Thing is we should have picked a backline with 3 rebounding defenders and Kept Dow in the side for finals. We were lucky to win our first two finals. I reckon we would have beaten Melbourne and Sydney comfortably and would have been more 50/50 against the Lions if we chose the side correctly.

If Voss keeps us big and slow we won't go anywhere.

They got the finals team wrong. Brisbane showed us the level of run and carry you need and that you need those quick little blokes in the middle.

You have to be able to run with the ball in modern football. If you can't you can't beat the zone and that's how ugly slow forward killing ball movement is created and we created that with our crap team selections this finals series. We wasted or forwards big time.

Voss still hasn't learnt, hope this loss changes things.
Red flags since the beginning. His calim to fame was going well enough to make finals during a time when teams were making the transition from the old style of footy to the new style and lucking a few finals wins.

We need to get rid of Voss right now before other clubs steal the best candidates. Atleast we will have wright to make the decisions on the next coach. Game plan is done. Voss is done. 75% of our coaches should be gone too. Retire Saad, Docherty, Haynes, Trade/Delist Motlop, TDK, McKay, Walsh, Kemp, Fantasia, Williams.

We are about to have a hell of an offseason. 10-20,000 members are about to walk out the door.
