What do you base that on?johnson_26 said:Mick is a super coach, and he proved that01, 02, 03 and now 06.
I can’t see how you can justify this. IMO some selections and matchups have been poor. That we have drafted better with early picks means SFA. That’s how it’s designed to work.johnson_26 said:He uses every resource he has to maximal effect. he is great for developing kids over the last two years (previous years questionable and drafting pre 04 was to be desired).
He uses injuries as an excuse for failing (were you at the AGM?) but when we have few injuries it’s all him?johnson_26 said:He uses average lists (some may think to malthouses drafting), but he gets the best out of them, making them perform at a higher level than what others would expect.
has there really been a second time? Bit early to call IMO but why did we need a second time? What has driven the side when they have been successful either time? Largely the players he inherited plus Clement and perhaps Holland.johnson_26 said:He had the arduous task of rebuilding collingwod and he did it in two eyars the first time, and two years the second time (first being 00, 01, second being 04, 05).
We have finished second last x 2 with one priority pick, and fourth last in 6 completed seasons under MM and we finished last the year before he arrived with another priority pick. We should have a big list of young talent. There is no credit to MM for what we have. If anything it is under the odds and MM and the recruiters have done a poor job. Add to that a poor trade record and we have the thin and under powered list we have in spite of one of the best draft opportunities of any club since 1999 when MM took over in the post season.johnson_26 said:We've got alot of young kids comming through thanks to MM and they should play under him further. He is level headed and knows what he's doing.
No he doesn'tFitzy said:MM gets out coached week after week after week, he vary rarely makes any positional changes throughout the course of a game.
Last week for example blind freddy could have seen that it was going to rain all day and that we needed to go into the game with good ground level players and less talls, yet we took C3 and Wakelin into the game.
He has constantly played Taz deep inside the fwd 50 instead of allowing him to roam accross half fwd/wing.
