Plugga, is Jarrod Bennets gonna get the credit he deserves this year?? I think he is one of the most underrated players in the comp.

The credit for Ritchie must need to come from people like you, B-S'er, because his ability, his leadership, and his quality as a bloke are already highly rated and regarded within the group and the club overall.He is in the top three footballer at the club, easily.

And to be fair, credit is for others to give, and is not something that Benno seeks, such is his modesty.

Top 3 you say?? o_O Better than Hank, Risol, Kenno, Phillip, Chandler, Toddy, Weller, Payne?? Would of thought those boys would have him covered. But hey, what would a simpleton like me know hey Plugga!:eek: Little bit of trivia for you, 'Ritchie' was my first senior opponent.........and he got 3rd best on.:(

Hmmm, Traf never had Dean Polo lined up to play. We've got Mighty Farrell and he's 5 players in one.:thumbsu: Jamie Hines would run with Polo all day:) He'd keep him to as many touches as Jake Bowden had in the grand final- 0

I wouldnt need to qualify anything to the likes of you.

As for the trivia... spare us. He would probably pull your pants down 99 times out of 100 with the other occasion he would be stiff and get injured in the first minute.

Bay Sixer, just read what you are writing, Dean Polo was a former AFL player, saying someone from Mid Gippsland would keep him all day is ludacris! Not to mention whilst Michael Farrell is amongst the best two or three in the comp, to say he is with 5 in 1, is just an enormus exaggeration

Regarding all this Dean Polo stuff, hasn't he signed with Albury? He's listed on the O&M clearances page.

(And if this isn't relevant to Mid Gippy, please move this post to the Gippsland league thread)

If he has signed with Albury, then so be it. I guess it is relevent here because someone said he had signed at Thorpdale.

That's the biggest statement I've heard for a while. The kids 20 years of age and has another 10 to 15years of footy left and he's only going to get better. He's kick around 175 goals in total for the past 3 years. As a fullforward I'd say he's doing his job! You obviously have no idea. And I also see him improving even more heading to Traf who move the ball very well. It's going to be scary if he blend's in well. Good-luck to any team stopping Traf if all goes to plan!

I said limited! He does kick goals well but doesn't bring much else to the table! His pressure around the ground needs significant improvement!

And in regards to being a traf player you boys have quite the wrong impression!

Gelagotis kicked 60 in 2012 and got dropped for the granny?! WHAT?! It's like dropping Lance Franklin, I know it's a bigger scale comparison, but who drops there vital goal kicker before a the biggest game? it's Ludicrious!!!

And as for Baysixer you obviously know him well?! Or are you stirring the pot?! I guess time will tell...

Can't help but agree with phone book. I'd like to see the odds on gala kicking 100 at Traf with supply from Joel braganolo and Cohen lee arguably in the top five kicks in mid gippy slipping them down his throat. Smart move on his part! Kick 100 a session and lack of ground pressure could be left alone!!!

Don't only tell part of the story! Newborough played a fair few games without gela because of a shoulder injury and managed to win games without him! It was unfortunate that he didnt recover well enough from his injury to play the Grand Final! And he wasn't dropped from the team, he played in the 2nds at the semi final, didnt perform that well and was given the opportunity to play in a twos grand final team, but turned it down! And considering newborough beat traf in that semi final, no one can blame them for their selections, they just played bad on the day!
