So what happens when Seaby comes back? Right now, Pyke has really solidified his pot. Would be a shame to see him go back to reserves after making such good progress.
 
Looks like he was up forward for a bit in 1st qtr? Maybe developing another aspect to his game? God knows he has the height hands and strength.

I think that Mike Pike will keep his spot and be offered a contract at the end of the year because in an add i have seen for the Geelong game he is named as one of the players to watch along with Ablett Mumford Chapman Goodes and a couple of others. Sounds like very good company to me and i don't think that's just because of his size either.
 
Good pics. Solid tackle and a well judged mark. TBH I thought he'd got himself caught under that mark but his stretch was fantastic. What an athlete. As his confidence grows he just gets better. Great for us that we have another tall who can take a contested grab. When he plays forward he looks dangerous enough. Hopefully he can get among the goals a bit more.

New Swans forward line: Shaw, White, Pyke, with Bradshaw thrown in between injuries ;). Sounds awesome

He's been playing up forward a bit over the last month. While he's only kicked one goal from his time up there, his constant working, pace, 2nd efforts, strength and strong, fast hands have been creating a lot of opportunities up there for the rest of our forward line.

Definitely deserving of his spot and in fact i think there is a big doubt over Seaby getting back in the side after he is fit.

There are only a handful of players in the AFL whose tackling can match that of an international rugby player. And 1 of them is Jack :)

Im a sucker for guys with veins (as weird as that sounds) i just love it.

my old whatever he was would flex his arms and the viens in his arm muscle would show like cousins and it was soo hot.
