Hart's 300th was round 2 2006 against WCE - a 2 point loss.

Also the 300th you've listed for McLeod (this weekend) will actually be Edwards' 300th, McLeods was in round 18 last year against Richmond.

We have been lucky as supporters to see these players play great footy for so long. Having so many players reach 250 or 300 games within 6 or 7 years of each other is one of the reasons that we have been one of the stronger sides this decade. We were also lucky that none of these guys got poached by other clubs. Imagine having to watch McLeod cut us up while playing for Port Power.

That would be round 10, 2006, when we kicked 30 goals and smashed Essendon by 138 points.

What I find most impressive is that Melbourne, after 100+ years in the VFL/AFL, have only had one 300-gamer in David Neitz. We've been in the comp for less than 20 and will have 4 after this weekend. I think we're very lucky to be blessed with so many champion players in quite a short existence.

And regarding the OP, I beleive McLeod's 250th was in 2006, not 2007. Best performance I have ever witnessed live, McLeods mark on the western wing was fantastic and it was probably the best game Trent Hentschel ever played.

And then I forgot Tyson Edwards (well it has been happening for all his career). A champion.

4 over 300 games and 6 over 250 games with Goody to join this group when he plays his 250th next week (all things being equal).

Better than our record in 200th games.

We won Edwards, McLeod and Smart's 200th, but lost Hart's, Bickley's (he got hurt), Roo's, Bassett's and Goodwin's 200ths.

We won DJ's but lost Clarke's 200ths, and lost Carey's 250ths too.

Hart's 250th - 56 point win over Freo at home.
Hart's 300th - 2 point loss to West Coast at home.
Smart's 250th - 12 point semi final win over Melbourne at the 'G
Roo's 250th - 86 point win over Hawthorn at the 'G. 3 Brownlow votes.
Roo's 300th - 72 point win over North at home. 1 Brownlow vote.
Macca's 250th - 138 point win over Essendon at home.
Macca's 300th - 63 point win over Richmond at home.
Edwards 250th - 31 point win over Brisbane at the Gabba.
