Baynes hasn't even put his name in the draft has he?
Don't think so as he has signed to play with Lietuvos Rytas in Lithuanian. Matthew Nielsen used to play for this club IIRC.

mills will get picked. late second round imo.
the others have the nbl
Have barely seen any of those players play, but if you were to tell me Thabeet was top 3 and Nevill wasn't going to be drafted from those stats alone I'd say you are crazy.Nevill numbers look great when compared to the other C's.

Pete, you're way better than this dribble. Mills late second round? WTF mate.
Joe Ingles and Luke Nevill will be grade A European players. Arron Baynes has signed to play in Europe already.
"the other have the NBL" - you're better than this.
If Ingles becomes an A grade European player (i.e. key rotation guy for a top 4 Euroleague team or similar), I'll eat my hat.

He will emulate the same sort of career as Brad Newley. He may not win MVP or all star selection awards but will be a very good contributor for his team in one of the top European leagues.
It’s not like he will play in England or Sweden where anyone bum can get a game, he will play in one of the big 5 leagues (Italy, Spain, Greece, Russia or France)

I believe Newley is much more talented.
Ingles is a typical case of "jack of all trades, master of none". People fell in love with the idea of a 6"9 wing, especially when he was performing well in the NBL at a young age, but he's shown no improvement over the last 3 years.
what happened to newley? i remember the hype and simultaneous orgasms all over australia when he was picked by the rox. i too got excited
this is probably why i keep my excitement in check when an aussie is projected to be picked.
He is going ok with Panellinios in Greece. He is there 3rd leading scorer with just under 11 PPG (remember it’s only a 40 min game) so these numbers are good.
But saying that i think it simply proves that someone cannot to get excited about someone getting picked with a second round draft pick because the NBA is so strong.

and that was my reasoning for not rating nevill etc (minus mills). i dont want to be hurt again.
nick van exel (mr 2nd round) says hi![]()
Do NBA players get match payments? That would be the only thing he would miss out on - his contract would be the same in the NBA or overseas.

^^ Dont you only get a guranteed contract if you are a first round draft pick?
