Early next year, should be the first 3 months at a guess.

Footage will be arriving next month to coincide with the full game release on PC.

The guy not only blatantly ripped off Notch's work for his own credit, but after Notch had offered an olive branch (which shows what kind of person he is imo), he pretty much shat on him in interviews like this. This guy doesn't deserve anyone's money, and if there is some kind of cosmic karma in the universe, MC 360 will obliterate this P.O.S into oblivion.

I didn't buy Fortresscraft simply because it was someone else's idea. Notch has created something that is unique, and that simply can't be duplicated by going away and shining up the graphics. Half of the appeal is the shitty, grainy appearance.

Massive tool.

Notch's inspiration for Minecraft. Not such a direct rip, but you can see where he got the idea from.

Notch never ripped it completely and tried to ride a wave of success, he took an idea and expanded it into his own vision and it created it's own publicity.

FC and to a much lesser extent Terraria; cashed in on minecraft. To be fair to Terraria though, at a basic level it's similar to minecraft but the game play is completely different and unlike minecraft, it has a limited playtime.

Taking an idea and developing it into something different, as Notch has done with Minecraft, is fine by me, but Fortresscraft is a direct rip.

Terraria's not really ripped off. Same sort of game in that you build for both fun and to survive, but then you could argue COD is a rip off of Battlefield or vice versa because they're both shooters.

Hmm... I hadn't heard of Fortresscraft until now, I will probably check it out anyway. I'm pretty keen for Minecraft to come out on both iPhone and 360... I have it on my iMac but I prefer playing on a console than a computer.

As true as that is, this texture pack that Eth is using in his 'Let's Play' series has become my texture of choice for Minecraft. Just makes everything look gorgeous, sharp and awesome. Also love the 'breaking' of objects look. As well as the design of the minerals. It's one of the most well thought out texture packs that I've seen.

Likewise I'm waiting for it on Android now. Even though it'll be more basic, I can't wait to give it a go on my phone.:D

Don't know if anyone will want me too or not, but I have a server. If you lot would like, I don't mind setting up two worlds through tele porters. One being the AFL pitch so it can be finished? I can use bpermissions and set it up so only people working on it can even use the teleporter. Could take a bit to set up, but I reckon I could do it.

Also, this was explained a good 6 months ago, but I will share it for you again. I was trying to show my friend how many blocks it was, and so I used world edit, server crashed and I couldn't undo it.

That's how it happened.
 
Getting him to admit fault, is like getting bones from a pig.
