Tuesday Joy may suprise as she is looking to be build for the Spring carnival, it may be to early for her to run out the 2400 strongly however she may be the darky in this. Remember she is out of Carnegie so shes has the breeding.

Im gonna say it again, get on the Pie Eater, he is the best value in the field and has the guts and maturity to out muscle these. MF is the danger and I wouldnt be suprised if she brained them, I hope she does :thumbsu: .

I was completely wrong on Miss Finland but I did bring Fiumicino to the discussion. Hope everyone went well.

Gee I as wrong, but I am gonna make an excuse. The track really did take away what should have been a great day of racing, the best horses/horses where not allowed to show their best because of this. We all know we want even conditions so every horse in the field has every possible chance of running a good race and yesterday this did not happen.

Anyhow it was just a freakish ride by Beadman, he is a star, the horse seemed to sprint well in the mud. Maybe they should take it to Royal Ascot, has English stayer written all over it.

Before you call someone out it might help to do a little research first and you would have seen where I gave my thoughts and tips finsihing with a nice collect on Ambitious general.

At least tige is big enough to take a bit of banter and admit he was wrong.

Mate just face up when your wrong. Dont make excuses to help your ego... geez i've been wrong many times in the past... I'll wear it, its now your turn to face the music.

I think my comments spoke volumes of how the race panned out. Take Miss Finland out of the equation and the race was wide open.

You say it was Beadmans ride... ok well where is HNPE in 2nd?? He wasnt... a horse by the name of Ambitous General was there... a horse that has been right with HNPE all the way. Its funny in between races HNPE seemed to get an extra 10 lengths on Ambitous General from hype!!

I wouldn't say a freakish ride. I would say he rode a good race, made no mistakes but the way that horse was cantering from the 600-200 was unbelievable. I have never seen a Group 1 2400m race where the winner is just coasting so easily at the 300 while the others are under the stick and hard riding and the jockey is just waiting to let go. That horse could be a superstar stayer if the Derby is any indicator. I know it was a bog track but ordinary horses cant do that. Miss Finland was disappointing as were a few others. Ambitious General was game again. What a Cox Plate this year with some luck- Haradasun, Miss Finland, El Segundo, Pompeii Ruler, Camarilla, Murtajill, Eremein, Mentality, Desert War, Reigning To Win etc.
