Yep, you're right, poorly worded and three in Brown, Reid, Harry and Tarrant would need to be out for Hahn to take the first or second forward. However in my defence i did clarify in my next post, he would be able to handle the third tall if needed due to injuries.

Hahn is as tough as they come and is capable of picking up the third tall down back. No issue with you not wanting to pick him up but you severely underrate the bloke who was one of the best defensive forwards a short time ago and was the one man engine room for the doggies forward line that kept them going for years.

May not have anything left in the tank (i'm a little sceptical after his end to the season) but if he does, i'm all for his recruitment as a backup plan.

I wouldn't waste a draft pick on him, as we have 5 (?) now, and I'd like to see Hine really given a chance to build our youth through this draft and the next, even if they are comprimised.

I can see how he would be decent backup for the likes of MaCaffer, Didak, and even a Dawes, but heck, if Mitch Hahn gets a game for Collingwood in 2011, write off the season, we are done.

Plus, I can see him getting in the way of the chances of senior selection for young players like Rounds, Reed, Keefe and even smaller forward options.

Maybe a mature aged rookie option, but not on the senior list.
