Why does Lachie see himself as a forward?

The coach sees him as a forward he has borrowed to plug a gap in the back line too.

In fact his bio on the CFC website says: "Used mainly in attack, but can also play in defence".

Bower is NOT a key position defender, he gets outbodied by the strong tall forwards, he is really a third defender, had he been a key defender no doubt many clubs would have chased in the trade period.

It wasn't that long ago that he was shutting down the likes of Cloke, Franklin and Bradshaw.

I didn't read through all pages, but could anyone tell me if he had the Walker-type surgery on just the one shoulder, or did the one he had operated last year also get the Walker-type treatment?
