I love the bit where he says he thinks he was a bit of a threat....lol

He will fit in beautifully to our Sheffield Shield team next season.![]()
No he isn't. Then again, most people who can't handle being sledged are pretty average sports people who never achieve ulitmate success. So the Barmy army essential bully a bloke and he is a sook. I am sure Mitch isn't the first guy to not handle being taunted by the crowd.

The campaign for haddin started with the skipper in the press conference the day wade hit his ton, basically summed up the arse backwards way cricket is run now in this country, a 24 year old makes a ton in difficult batting conditions and the skipper is more worried about reassuring his over the hill mate who played poor and irresponsible cricket for well over a year.
The real problem I have with Johnson is that he doesn't just leak runs, they flow like a river from him. If he could contain batsmen a bit better then he might find he is a more than a fringe player.

Johnson is our 6th best quick.
Pattinson Siddle Cummins Starc Bird Johnson Hilfenhaus
In 5 a test series (ie the ashes) if we take the first 5 of them. There are 15 spots for quicks, assuming we play a spinner every test.
Thats 4 tests for 3 of them and 3 for the other. Which i think would be about right considering the new rotation policy.
As we will always have a few injuries he is likely to be around the mark, but i dont want to see him in that top 3 selected. Would rather him just come in for a replacement here and there, pick up some wickets, but leak runs.
Hilfenhaus is the one that concerns me. He doesnt swing it anymore and has lost a yard of pace. Hes dropped behind Mitch for mine.
That was really the point of my post. To say well done.200 wickets? The first for a left-arm Australian. I could bag him, point out his many weaknesses. But I'll let it slide and say "Well done, good career Mitch" instead.

Bruce Reid is the obvious one. Alan Davidson is one I would have thought. Can't for the life of me remember the third bloke. That was really the point of my post. To say well done.
Who can name the other three left armers to have taken 100 test wickets for Australia? Without looking it up?![]()
