Hi Guys
just say you've had a mobile phone for 12 weeks. You've loaded some songs on it, and when you go for a jog, you play them through your headphones.
towards the end of your jog, the music cuts out.
you look at the phone and it's dead. there's a picture of a battery with a caution sign next to it. It won't charge.
You take it back to the dealer and the warranty is denied due to "liquid damage".
Is this legal?
Are they allowed to make a phone that lets sweat seep in to the motherboard (the only explanation that makes any sense) and simply deny warranty? Have I really lost the hundreds of dollars it will cost me to get a new one?
Anyone got any tips please?
