Pretty sure Richmond will go for a midfielder in the first round
I don't know. Maybe Richmond will another talented mid to their gun midfield to replace Tuck when he retires or they might draft a quality defender to help out their young injury prone backline. The idea behind drafting a quality defender is that Chris Newman is a season or two from retiring and lets face it, he won't be around when the Tigers start putting their hands up for a flag. Thanks for the comments though.

Port are desperate for inside midfielders so I would say that Wines/Vlastin will be our first choice.
If Jimmy Toumpas is not there then I'm pretty sure Port will recruit the Grundy. His a South Australian and besides Travis Boak is going back home to vic. Port will get a decent good pick for him and probly draft a mid with that pick.

Dangerous assumption re: boak. Midfielders for us in this draft.

Boak's gone and if he stays than If Jimmy Toumpas is there at Port's pick then he will be drafted, but if his not there then Grundy or Mayes (a port recruiter really rate's him. go to the afl website and try to find an article on sam mayes) will be drafted for sure.

If GC/GWS doesn't bid on Viney with their 1st pick and he slips past their first two picks (what you have at 3 +4) does the pick at 13 not count as a draft pick because it's a concession? If it doesn't there's NO CHANCE that it's getting past there let alone 3 and 4.

Compo picks don't count for F/S selections.

Interesting read and thanks for posting this up.

There seems to be a bit of a tendency with the SA and WA clubs selections for Phantom posters to go with draftees from their home states (you only have one selection from those four clubs which does not do that). Don't know if that is simply the way it fell, or if you actually think they will be biased in favour of locals, which I think is unlikely. PA may be an exception.
